Dr. Faten Jarraya-Horriche is an Associate Professor, hydrogeologist and groundwater modeller at the LGR, Centre for Water Research and Technologies (CERTE, Tunisia). Her expertise is related to aquifer characterization, groundwater modelling, natural & artificial recharge of groundwater, groundwater vulnerability, seawater intrusion, groundwater level monitoring and water resources management. She developed several case studies in Tunisia and she has been involved and led within the LGR team and partners, national & international research projects and activities. She supervises students for engineer, master and PhD degrees. She is a funder member and the president of the national scientific association (Association Eau et Développement AED) and the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) Tunisian chapter (Tunisian Committee of Hydrogeology).
