Assistant Professor, Ph.D

Dr. Dhekra Khazri is an Assistant Professor in Geophysics at the Department of Geology, Faculty of Sciences of Tunis El Manar, University of Tunis El Manar (Tunisia), and a member of the Laboratory of Georesources (LGR) at the Water Research and Technologies Centre (CERTE), Borj-Cédria.
She received her PhD in Geology-Geophysics from the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical, and Natural Sciences of Tunis in 2019. Her doctoral and postdoctoral research was conducted at the Laboratory of Georesources (LGR).
Her expertise lies in geology, applied geophysics, and hydrogeophysics, with a focus on the geometric characterization and modeling of deep, intermediate, and near-surface reservoirs.
Her research focuses on integrated, multi-scale geophysical approaches (Gravity, Seismic, Electrical prospecting, Microgravity Monitoring) to subsurface imaging of sedimentary basins and hydrogeological exploration and optimization (mainly in semi-arid areas).
