Sameh Chargui, Dr. Eng in managing water resources in rural areas. She obtained a PhD degree from National Agronomic Institute of Tunisia, University of Carthage, Tunisia. She was employed as an Assistant professor in Hydraulic and rural Engineering at the Higher Institute of Environment, Urbanism and Building Technologies, Tunisia. Actually, she is a researcher-assistant professor, in the Georesources Laboratory, Water Research and Technology Centre, Tunisia. Her research interests include hydrology, rainfall-runoff modeling in water-scarce regions, and the impacts of climate change and rainfall variability on water resources (particularly in semi-arid areas).
